The highlight of my weekend was being apart of the 4th Hong Kong International Pillow Fight Day public pillow fight in Central on Saturday.
We all got to Chater Garden early...and it looked like every other day...only the huddles of people in onesies, pajamas, halloween costumes and massive-lense cameras made this day, of all days, seem like something was a buzz...
The countdown began, with pillows raised, we put our cameras in a safe place...everything became still...
And the bashing commenced...bashing heads, bonking billows, and banging flailing arms...some people were brutal...the kids especially...yes, the bashing commenced...for an hour!
The aftermath was gory, pillows had broken and were strewn all over the battlefield...
But, as all good pillow fights go, my friends and I, along with a lot of other people, stuck around to pick up the pillow stuffings. We all reveled in the fight we had all just come out of with the mentality that we had come, we had seen, and we had conquered!
Will anyone be going next year?
